URAD is the original, one step leather cream. Created by the Daru family over 40 years ago in Milan, Italy. The name of URAD is simply the name of the family "Daru" spelled backward. It was so popular in Europe that it made its way across the Atlantic to Canada where it was sold with great success. When the U.S. market was entered, a need for a more identifiable name was realized. Hence, the name "Leather Mate". Just remember, whether you have "URAD" or "Leather Mate", they are both the same product.
